Marc Chauvet

In Rilly-la-Montagne, a small village in the Montagne de Reims, the Chauvet family has been cultivating vines for generations. A curious inscription from 1529, found in the village church, already testifies to the presence of a vigneron ancestor: Nicolas Chauvet, a historical figure who symbolically marks the beginning of a long legacy.

Today, the domaine is run by siblings Clotilde and Nicolas Chauvet, who passionately continue the work undertaken by their parents Claudette and Marc Chauvet, keeping the tradition alive under the Marc Chauvet Champagne banner.

The Maison's approach combines respect for artisanal practices with the desire to produce Champagne that is identity-based, authentic and an expression of the terroir of the Montagne de Reims, emphasising the balance between finesse, structure and aromatic complexity.
